Open that good makeup you’ve been hiding… it’s time for ULABA’s Professional Headshots day! Regardless of whether you’re hot or ugly, fashionable or basic, fun or boring – it’s time to update that LinkedIn pic! Make sure to be early, as we have limited spots and it’s a first-come, first-serve basis. More details will be provided upon arrival to tomorrow’s meeting, at Tisch Hall, UC-25, at 12:30PM.

We encourage all of you to SPLURGE… put on that fancy top, that sexy tie, or those expensive hair products; make it hot, make it interesting, but most of all, make it business formal… please!

And while you’re waiting to get your picture taken, there’ll be free food and a fun vibe, you can hang out with your fellow ULABA members and network!

Tomorrow’s Meeting

As I mentioned before, we’ll be doing professional headshots for LinkedIn (and any other platforms or uses you might have for a nice pic). Please read below for some photographer tips, as well as some important rules!

Gals…

  1. Wear subtle makeup… that bright purple lipstick is for Paul’s Casablanca, not the Executive Conference Room at Goldman Sachs!

  2. Stick to neutral colors when picking out your outfits – and avoid spaghetti straps!

  3. No flashy jewelry – mom’s hoop earrings can stay in their drawer this time.

Guys…

  1. No t-shirts, sweatshirts, or other casual tops! In fact, we highly encourage you to wear a button-down and a nice suit jacket (neutral colors, of course).

  2. Take care of that stubble… unless you have a full-on beard that looks professional and clean, I regret to inform you that it’s time to take out the razor.

  3. Please… put on some chapstick…

And, everyone…

  1. Give a little care to that hair! Tame that mane! Keep… it… neat!

  2. No winter jackets or scarves. The pics will be taken outside (in front of the Stern KMEC dome); it’ll take two minutes tops and we’ll hold your stuff for you. Suck it up, buttercup.

  3. AND FINALLY, NO STAINS! In the past years, students have brought their clothes separately and changed before their pictures. If you’re a messy person, consider doing this!
