ULABA Professional Development Workshop
Guys… T-minus 3 weeks until my last ULABA Newsletter… 😭😭😭
That’s right… Our baby Marketing Rep is all grown up and I’m lowkey getting soooo tired of writing these (it’s been a year and a half if you can believe it)! In fact, parts of this very newsletter have already been written by Elias… Think you can guess who’s who?
Regardless, we have a fun meeting* planned out for you so make sure to swing by Tisch Hall, UC-25 at 12:30PM tomorrow! As always, you can trust Álvaro to bring the snacks!

As per usual, please find our ULABA Internship Database below – which contains all the currently open internships [that we’ve been able to find]. I’ve been tempting you to click this link throughout the entire semester, so I will blindly assume you have… If you haven’t, this is your not-so-gentle reminder that recruitment is in full swing. If I were you (yes, I’m giving you the side-eye, procrastinating Sophomore) I would hurry up and start applying! You’ve got this pookies!

Given the nature of tomorrow’s meeting, all ULABA Mentors and Mentees are required to attend. Please make sure to plan accordingly!
Tomorrow’s Meeting
Tomorrow, Bates and Jorge will be leading our Professional Development Workshop – this semester’s meeting focused on getting you the job that you want. Unlike last semester’s workshop, this meeting is open to all of our members, not just mentees!
We will be going over different ULABA resources you all have access to, our mentors’ experiences and areas of interest (so that you know who to reach out to when you’re applying to different types of jobs), and then we’ll dedicate the biggest chunk of time to giving you the interview prep you desperately need… ☺️
So, don’t make us chase you down campus… just come to the meeting 😘

Just one more thing and I swear I’ll log off… NYU Stern’s Business and Society Program (BSP) is hosting their amazing Haitkin Spring 2025 lecture on March 18th, and I wouldn’t miss it if I were you ;)
BSP Professor Jonathan Haidt will lead the discussion with his lecture, “Why is Gen-Z so different?” If you’re anything like me and would LOVE an answer, make sure you reserve your spot by scanning the QR code below!
